The Black Box Theater will be rocking to the music of the early years of Rock 'n Roll on Sunday, December 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. The popular local group, "The Oldies But Goodies Band" will be performing many of the most popular songs of the 1950's and 1960's that afternoon.
The Oldies But Goodies Band has been performing locally for over nine years. The mission of this family friendly band is to keep the original Rock 'n Roll music alive. The concert will consist of some of the greatest songs of the time and include brief historical notes about the early days of rock music. The band consists of eight local residents of Las Cruces: Leslie Kowalski, Steve St. John and Bob DelCampo on vocals, Adrienne Wilson on drums, Tim Davis on lead guitar with Gary Parker on bass guitar. Bobby Senecal and Mary Lynn Brown share keyboards and vocals as well. Collectively, the group has nearly 200 years of experience in musical performances!
